We have arrived in the city of lurve! Pretty shattered after yesterday's 6 hour drive from Bordeaux then 3 hours trying to work out how to park the car! The Peek family - James, Karen and Alex - arrived last night, we had a well-earned sleep in and it's great to be hangin' out with English-speaking people and their company's not bad either ; )James, having lived here before, proxied as our tour guide and immediately took us to the streets of Paris to see the big ones. The Eiffel, Champs and Arc were all quite impressive, but the highlight would be the tower. It is actually quite spectacular and we're hoping to go up it later in the week.

Ah, gay Paree! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. The view from the top isn't any different from the view on evel 2 - only difference (on a clear day) is the cost! Then again, seeing you two are extremely fit, you could devour those stairs to L2 in no time! I look forward to more photos. ENJOY!
